First batch of doctoral students (PhD Population Health Informatics Program) selected

Examination and interviews were conducted to select the first batch of doctoral students to the PhD Population Health Informatics Program. Eight candidates from excellent and diverse backgrounds were selected for the program.

Dr. Ashish Joshi, a global expert in the field of Population Health Informatics was quoted as saying “This is the first program globally to focus on data and digital literacy and will equip students with 21st century skills that focusing on technological interventions that can enhance population health outcomes across diverse settings.” Dr. Joshi also emphasized that “The program is unique as it brings multidisciplinary curriculum, combined with experiential learning approach to solve complex public health challenges in real world settings”.

This unique program is an initiative of Foundation of Healthcare Technologies Society in collaboration with DIT University, Dehradun with experts from national and international settings.
