I am currently working as an intern at Foundation of Healthcare technologies society.I have done Bachelors in Homoeopathic medicine and surgery from Nehru Homoeopathic medical college, Delhi university and currently I am pursuing Masters in Public Health from Delhi Pharmaceutical sciences and research university. I was born and brought up in New Delhi.I like to spend my free time listening music and exploring internet.I came to know about FHTS while surfing google and a conversation with Dr. Ashish Joshi inspires me a lot. FHTS is a perfect platform where I can learn practical aspect of public health and it will help me in further studies and activities. I want to learn about various research studies and solving research problem without biases.
Enviornment day
I am working as an intern at FHTS and FHTS is a perfect platform for me. I want to be a part of each and every research and innovations of FHTS.
Since day one at FHTS, am learning something new each day, the first event which I have attended was The WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY on 5th June 2017 and it was a nice experience. I have learnt a lot from this event like the way to interact with the public and encourage them, it builds confidence among you.
Diet grant
I was a part of the HIMACHAL trip from 13-16 June 2017 for the DIET GRANT. This trip gave me invaluable knowledge and experience, about the social and political challenges which a researcher has to face, I interviewed diabetic patients and I realized that what I have read during my graduation was just a theoretical part of healthcare whereas the reality is not like that; the actual health system of India is totally different.
Swasthya Pahal
I got an opportunity to participate in PHIK camp on 23rd July 2017 and I realized that there is a remarkable difference between curing a patient as a doctor and preventing the patient from diseases as a public health professional. It was such an astonishing experience for me. I hope I will learn more and more from FHTS while working with it in future.
Bowel Disease
Now, am working on a systematic review of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, under such an adorable guidance of Dr. Ashish Joshi. My way of thinking is changing day by day, going forward from books to actual reality.
