In a unique approach to enhance self-management of Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity and high cholesterol, Foundation of Healthcare Technologies society (FHTS) – A non-profit, non-government organization conducted a free ‘Swasthya Pahal’ camp at passage of the Central District Delhi’s DCP office,Daryaganj on 12th of September 2018.
149 Police officials who are serving Delhi Police were made the Beneficiaries of our Health for All Program and were entitled to free treatment at Swasthya Pahal camp during the day.
Swasthya Pahal is delivered using a standalone and an internet enabled SMAART Informatics platform conceptualized by Dr. Ashish Joshi, an international population health informatics expert and the founder of the organization.
The platform facilitates free health risk assessment, including gathering of data on multiple risk factors such as family history, health behavior, clinical assessment and a combination of objective assessments including blood sugar, blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index and finally generating a tailored SMAART Health Card. Based on an individual risk profile, lifestyle counselling by several experts of the foundation was given.
All the beneficiaries were very happy after getting free Health Assessment and especially appreciated the advanced usage of ‘SMAART informatics platform’- our Patent Software, through which they were able to get their report within couple of minutes.
Speaking on the occasion, Milan Bhardwaj (ASI) said, “The initiative of Swasthya Pahal is very nice for the awareness and if the team of FHTS is really collecting data for the solution of the problems faced by us then it is tremendous and definitely it is going to bring the revolution for the nation”
Sunil Sharma (ASI) said “I am much concern about my health. Since 2010 till today I visit doctor each and every month for regular check-up of blood Sugar and blood Pressure for my well-being and having the report of my blood pressure and blood sugar of every month is with me since 2012 so that it will be convenient to the doctors to track my health risk and I will like to suggest everybody for routine check-up. Organizing Swasthya Pahal camp is a great initiative taken by FHTS for the awareness and this should be organized on regular interval of time, because routine check-up is much beneficial for us to live healthy but police officials don’t get that enough time to go to the hospital for routine check-up on regular basis and FHTS is making it avail on our doorsteps. So, I am greatful to FHTS for the initiative of Swasthya Pahal.” Everyone present in the camp expressed their immense gratitude for organizing free Swasthya Pahal camp.
Several employees of the foundation including Ankita, Chaitanya Sharma, Bhavya Malhotra, Shruti Sharma, Poulami Hazra, Rajat Kumar Sharma, Ankur Dubey and Somnath Gayan participated in the camp. FHTS expressed thankfulness to their members and well-wishers and especially to authorities of
DCP office, Daryaganj of central district of Delhi.
