Testimonial:

I am Dr. Chandrima Chatterjee, recently completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a specialisation in Global Health from Prasanna School of Public Health, MAHE. I am a registered dental surgeon, having a BDS degree from Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar.
I had always been interested in pursuing a career in Research and Academia. When I started with MPH, I started developing an interest in the areas of Mental Health, Health Economics, Bioethics and Health promotion and literacy.
I had done my internship with Foundations of Healthcare Technologies Society (FHTS) in 2020, and when I was offered this INSPIRE Fellowship, I wanted to work with the organisation. With the incredible work culture and liberty to work on our ideas, the fellowship had been fruitful. I worked on the Discussion Board, an evidence-driven, knowledge exchange platform – generating new ideas for discussion and enhancing community engagement. Under the mentorship of Dr. Ashish Joshi Sir, Mansi Ma’am and Kamalpreet Ma’am, I had been able to learn a lot and implemented the theoretical knowledge that I had acquired during MPH.
Some of the skills that I have acquired during three months are improved scientific writing skills, having been able to read articles about the topics of Public Health importance and deliver work on time, teamwork and working in a virtual environment.
