I am Dr. Jerry Philip George, a dentist who is currently pursuing MPH at SCTIMST, Trivandrum, Kerala, and a native of the same. I have a passion for public health research and analysis. I hope to excel in the same by hard work and sincerity. I hope that this internship will help me attain it. I had graduated in 2017 from CMC Ludhiana and was working with a hospital as a General Dentist for 2 years until 2020 and it was during this period that I found my inclination towards research and data analysis especially in healthcare. I am a fresher in the subject and hope to learn a lot from you.

It is with great joy that I write this testimonial that I could successfully complete my internship with FHTS. I wasn’t honestly expecting much initially as my colleagues who did internships with other organizations had very little to do abut public health research or related activities. At the same time, even in our first session, Dr Ashish Joshi had assured us that we would do something relevant and significant thereby building confidence in me to put more of my efforts and time into this internship. Timely guidance by all the other mentors in the team helped me and our batch to successfully complete a study within the deadline and that we could submit it for publication. I am really grateful for all the mentors and happy that I took the right decision by joining FHTS.
