v-INSPIRE Intern, FHTS
With an aim to serve the society, I had medicine as my base in the final years of my school, which gradually evolved into community nutrition as my field of service as I graduated from Government Home Science College, Chandigarh. During the graduation, I’ve had the assistance to conduct surveys, rallies and be a part of awareness programmes such as breast feeding awareness week and Poshan-Maha under NSS. I prospect to add onto this list with this internship, while keeping in touch with my elementary dream.

This internship has significantly improved my knowledge of the workings of the public health systems, developing intervention methods, and the policy making process and left me with skills that will be useful throughout my career. I think the experience in this area is a good preview of my career and future. I am learning some important skills that will help me to stay in the area. This Internship has been such a growing experience for me. All of the lessons I've learned here can and will be used in all of my future challenges.
