I’m a 4th year BE Biotechnology student looking forward to pursue my Masters in Health Informatics. During my 4-year course I have explored various fields through internships, workshops, seminars and reading. I came across Health Informatics which intrigued me.
Through extensive reading, I realised that digital health solutions hold great potential in addressing some of these challenges. I look forward to any opportunity that will help me build my knowledge in this field. Therefore, with a background of Biotech Engineering, I would like to pursue my master’s degree in Health Informatics.

My internship with FHTS has been a delightful learning experience. I have gained insight into the public health sector, which I believe will be very useful further in my career. It has enabled to develop my interpersonal skills like communication, teamwork and problem-solving. I have also worked on the SMAART RAPID Tracker and understand the functioning of the public health system of different countries through presentations. Overall, I have had a unique and fruitful experience through this virtual public health internship.
