v-INSPIRE Intern, FHTS
Myself Dr shiri khan. I’m an ayush doctor. I’m pursuing my MPH from jamia hamdard. Side by side i m also doing pg diploma in hospital management from apollo. As a doctor my concern is about health of a community so i chose MPH which can help me to prevent disease at a community level before it happens. It’s my goal to achieve. After 1-year i have passed my first year in MPH i will be exploring more in public health and upgrading my skill, knowledge and experience that not only made some changes in community health but will also give a boost to my carrier on the basis of experience and opportunities. In one year i want to upgrade myself in technology base skill,informartics,work and communication. After 3 years see myself getting a permanent job at public sector, WHO, UNICEF, FSSAI, Fhts which will help me to reach out people at global level. I also see myself making a huge difference as my vision is clear as my mission. As an ayush doctor, i want to heal and treat people in an out and i will surely doing my unani regimen at big level.

FHTS is a group of professionals from diverse backgrounds including public health, informatics, management, agriculture, nutrition and clinical medicine. They are research based society which takes active researchers from various fields to create innovations and their potential to positively influence society.
During the situation of COVID-19 the FHTS team provide virtual internship to public health students a requirement of internship after second semester of Masters in public health. I interned with FHTS for 1 months under the guidance of my mentor Dr. Ashish Joshi who is the founder of FHTS.
FHTS team mainly focuses on Health System of all over the world with a vision to improve knowledge and skills at their level best. While joining the internship I had one basic aim in my mind that I wanted to understand how various organisation related public health works. The experience that I received during my internship will always be valuable for me in the future.My internship had been one of the most fruitful experiences a trainee would wish to have once in his or her lifetime.The amount of dedication and professionalism I saw in the interns and employees working at the internship motivates me. Insight FHTS not gave me the experience required to face the competition but also gave me some really good teacher that I will cherish for an entire lifetime.
