v-INSPIRE Intern, FHTS

I am a dentist with a postgraduate degree in public health. I have keen interest in inter-disciplinary research, with a thematic inclination towards non-communicable diseases, mental health and disability. I have an experience of both qualitative and quantitative research but I do better in terms of qualitative research.

I have basic knowledge of Stata, SPSS, Epi Info and Excel. I previously work in the Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra. As a part of my thesis, I carried out a mixed method study to assess the healthcare access of migrants in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh. I looked at the relationship social capital and healthcare access in my thesis.

Testimonial:

I am a dentist with a master's degree in public health. I was given the wonderful opportunity to work as a virtual intern as a part of the INSPIRE program. I was guided by Dr. Ashish Joshi, Swati and Srishti ma'am. I learnt data management and visualization skills in 1 month. I also got an opportunity to write a blog with other two members. It was a great learning experience.
