I am Sumaiya Nayeem, currently pursuing M.Sc in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics (final year) from St.Anns College for Women, Hyderabad, and completed my B.Sc in Applied Nutrition from the same. I have recently worked on a Review article on the Association of Vitamin D deficiency with other diseases. My area of interest is Diabetes Mellitus, Eating Disorders, and Maternal Health. I would like to intern at FHTS as I am hoping that it will enhance my intellectual capabilities and help me in exploring various areas of public health.

It was an amazing and eye-opening experience for me as the programme taught me various skills and gave me an idea about the vast area of research and public health .It gave me a perspective on how to view and understand the research papers and articles in a new light.
It helped me in understanding how to connect nutrition with technology and research. Data analysis and interpreting skills were the most important skills I have learned.
I came across research articles on the public health blog post and it provoked my thinking process. Moreover, it gave me an opportunity to understand the views and thoughts of other people.
The data collection and organization skills were taught to us by our mentor. I learned tabulation and interpretation of data. Team building helped all my team members to grow as a team.
