Webinar presenter:  Dr. Rachit Negi

Dr. Rachit Negi will be presenting on his research topic “Conceptualizing and evaluating Informatics platform to enhance screening of mental health conditions in primary care settings” on 16-04-2021.

He  is a trained public health professional from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, USA. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Population Health Informatics from DIT University. He is presently  working as State PPM Lead for Uttarakhand and Assam for Centre for Health Research and Innovation (PATH affiliate) in India.

The burden of mental disorders seen by the world is only the tip of the iceberg. In India, there are very limited studies about mental health needs, especially in low resource settings. The burden of Mental Health disorders has grown exponentially in the last two decades. The presentation will majorly focusing on Common Mental Health Disorders such as (Stress, Anxiety and Depression).
