Mohd Anas Quraishi will be presenting on his research topic “Design, develop and evaluate public health decision support tool to address Musculoskeletal Disorder (MSD) among IT professionals” on 12/02/2021.

He is an MPH and pursuing PhD in Population Health Informatics from DIT University. For the last 8 Years he has been working as a public health professional in various states of India. He had worked in different sub domains of Public Health like Nutrition, Health Insurance, Immunization and communicable diseases. Right now, He is working with JSI as a State technical officer for the rollout of Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) in the State of Uttarakhand. The primary objective of his presentation is to address the hidden epidemic of musculoskeletal disorder among IT professionals in India.

As a chronic disorder, quality of life is comprised of professionals suffering from MSD. Moreover, MSD among IT professionals is an emerging issue that has prodigious social and economic impact. Hence, during the presentation possible solutions of MSD through Population health informatics will be discussed.
