Let us all contribute by giving women an opportunity in Research, Innovation, Skills and Employment towards achieving Gender Inequality

International Women’s Day 2021: Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 World

Foundation of Healthcare Technology Society’s commitment towards empowering individuals and community-centric approach has lead to various initiatives through the span of 9 years. FHTS addresses gender-based inequalities by giving equal opportunity in Research, Innovation, Skills and Employment and strive to enhance women leadership. FHTS takes pride in promoting female employment even during the era of worldwide pandemic. Women at FHTS are proving to be groundbreaking researchers and are reflection of all women and girls who dare to cross their horizons and break the normal. About 86% of the employees and team members at FHTS consists of women who are one of the most brilliant and inspirational minds.

With an intention to bridge the gap in Public Health Research opportunities, FHTS has come up with v-INSPIRE program for experiential learning. About 80% of the interns, from all academic institutes in the country, selected for the program have been females. FHTS is supporting these budding women researchers in Public Health to tackle the social inequalities and bring a change.

RISE initiative which commenced on 8th March, 2018 by Dr. Ashish Joshi is one such initiative. RISE focuses on empowering individuals by enhancing their natural talent and building employable skills. RISE is focused on empowering women and creating opportunities for them. This International Women’s Day we look back on 3 years of RISE and the impact we created via various exhibits, skill building workshops and trainings.

FHTS wishes everyone a very happy International Women’s Day.
