Dr. Apurva kumar Pandya is a trained psychologist and currently serving as a Director, Parul Institute of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, Parul University, Vadodara, Gujarat. He holds post-graduate a doctoral degree from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Gujarat.

He has more than 15 years of experience in social sector and research with 55+ publications to his record. His interests broadly attempt to understand psychological and social determinants of health, public mental health, (digital) health behaviour change, health promotion & communication, and the impact of technology on health outcomes of the marginalized population. Moreover, he explores indigenous counselling approaches for promoting positive health.

He has been recipient of numerous fellowships and awards to pursue his scholarship; Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral and Professional Research Fellowship, University Grants Commission Research Fellowship (UGC RFSMS-DSR), Many Faces of Counselling Psychology Award, and Early Career Scholar Award.

He looks forward to collaborations for research, training and academic partnerships to promote positive health.
