Myself Deeksha Shetty from Manipal, Karnataka, India. I have done my bachelor’s in Naturopathy and yogic science from SDM college of naturopathy and yogic science, Ujire, India. I had been working as a Medical Officer in the same institution and currently pursuing specialisation in epidemiology in Manipal University, India. I would like to describe myself as a creative, compassionate and an organised person.

This internship experience with Foundation Healthcare Technologies Society was both valuable and helpful to me as a student and gave me the opportunity to look at public health from a different perspective. I also got to refresh my skills. This platform is not only a tool to help me improve on my resume but also provided great networking.
The FHTS gives tremendous access to the people who are eager to know about Public Health. Will highly recommend this organisation to anyone interested in this field. Everyone who works at this place is supportive, they value your ideas and thoughts. I've definitely had a wonderful time studying.
