I am Dr Divita Sharma. I am based out of Delhi and I pursued my graduation in dentistry and completed my postgraduation in Public Health from AIIMS Rishikesh. In my graduation days, I realized the importance of Preventive health and that made me venture into the field of public health due to its immense potential to change thousands of lives. Apart from being the obvious choice of profession, Public Health is also something I’m deeply passionate about. I’m interested in research as I believe it is a great tool to bring meaningful changes in the population habits and a method to remodel how the matter of health is perceived in India.

Foundation of Healthcare Technology Society is a great platform for public health students and for public health professionals who wants to kick start their career. Working as a virtual intern gave me an exposure to work on a virtual platform an also helped me expand my knowledge of ongoing pandemic. A unique system of data informatics, SMAART Rapid Tracker, helped me explore variety of COVID-19 related information for different states of India and other countries. My interaction with everybody working in the organization was smooth and all the people were supportive who gave me a chance to grow through my work. Overall, it was a great experience and opportunity for me to work here and I would like to be a part of FHTS in future.
