Mahima Kaur is a post-graduate in Food and Nutrition, with specialization in Public Health Nutrition from Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi. Her research interests include maternal and child health, adolescent health, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and obesity. She is currently working as Research Associate Public Health Nutrition in Foundation of Healthcare Technologies Society.
She has done a 3 day training course on “Infant and Young Child Feeding Practices”. Being an enthusiastic individual, she also participated in various seminars and workshops like “Critical care nutrition”, “Clinical nutrition”, “Food safety and management of diet related to non communicable diseases” and “Assessment of nutritional status in dual nutrition burden era” to enhance her skills.
She possesses good nutritional knowledge and has the capability to counsel individual about proper dietary habits. She aims to improve the nutritional status of the society by reaching out to the people and making them aware of the good health and nutrition which will contribute to a healthy life.
