Dr. Mayank Badola is a Public Health Professional with more than 17 years of experience in Emergency and Clinical management, Quality assurance, Health System Strengthening, Monitoring & Evaluation and Program management. He did his MBBS from Tirunelvelli medical college ,Tamil Nadu, MD in Community medicine from Swami Rama Himalayan university, Uttarakhand. He is presently working as State Tuberculosis officer and managing World bank assisted Health system development project for the state of Uttarakhand. He has played a lead role in managing roll out of Measles Rubella campaign in the border District Chamoli of Uttarakhand. While working in the capacity of Additional Chief medical officer he has had the opportunity to managed almost all the National Health programmes.
His research interest includes study of quality in healthcare , NCD among people living in high altitude and operational research in tuberculosis. Having knowledge of field dynamics and orientation in research he believes that only informatics, innovation and translation hold the key to achieve public health goals.
Integrating programmatic data to generate possible strategies to meet the public health goals is what I expect to research upon while pursuing PhD in Population Health Informatics .
