I’m Vasantha, I’ve done my bachelor’s degree in Bsc Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from Osmania University Hyderabad. Currently, I’m doing my Pg Diploma In Nutrition and Dietetics at St.Ann’s College, Hyderabad. I always wanted to be a part of such an organization of public health and nutrition. I’m really excited and looking forward to gaining more knowledge about public health informatics and various research dimensions from FHTS.

The goal I have right now is to pursue my diploma in clinical nutrition and dietetics. In the next year, I want to see myself getting a good rank in MSC entrance, and I need to get a seat in a good university in MSC clinical nutrition and dietetics. In the next two to three years, I want to complete my master’s in clinical nutrition and dietetics from the top university, along with the placement of a good hospital, with a good package of salary as a dietitian. As I want to start my carrier as a dietitian, I want to gain knowledge as much as possible in a clinical section, how to counsel the patient, diet planning, dealing with the patient according to their perspective, and helping the patient to overcome their problems. At the same time, I want to prepare for RD (registered dietician)exam, I need to qualify for that exam. One of my goals is to see besides my name with a title of RD (registered dietician). Along with working with the clinical sector as a dietitian, I want to work even with community-based nutrition education to monitor or to empower the public, how nutrition plays an important role in our daily life. And to lead a healthy life what are provisions the need to follow. And even I want to help the people with low poverty line, as they are facing a lot of health issues due to low economical status, this is one of the major causes of many people’s. Making my parents proud, and making myself at atop notch in relatives along with my family. These are the goals I'm having presented in my mind that I want to do in the next three to four years.
My Internship period at the FHTS organization acquired me with valuable knowledge and experience and a better idea about what knowledge and its skills. Things that I have learnt during my internship at FHTS were about practical knowledge and a supportive team with good service. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn and get a better understanding. I also benefited from attending the seminars and have enjoyed. The group project with my colleagues. My internship gave me the opportunity to see so much more than I am able to learn in the classroom. I have developed many skills and have a much greater concept. My internship has given me a greater understanding and given me the opportunity to apply further. One of the good things was that I got to learn things from different aspects and got to know more about the technology.
