Goals:

Four years from now, I would like to see myself in a high position. I’m going to be learning and gaining practical experience until then, but eventually, I want to become an RD Dietician. I know there are a lot of things to learn, but I am going to be working for the next five years. As a future dietician, I can see in myself that I am passionate to work with the Hispanic community, utilizing my Spanish speaking skills, and working with low socioeconomic populations. My skills can help me gain the confidence of some of my patients or clients and find better ways to assess their needs. And also I want to become a Research dietician and also Administrative dietician also and I should help out many people with a variety of problems like obesity, high blood pressure, athletes, the elderly, people with allergies, and so on. My profession can benefit every not just a client.

I see myself putting my skills to good use and helping advance the school's goals and mission. I believe that collaboration and mutual support are especially important in educational settings, so I look forward to using my time-management and organizational skills to provide solid admin support to the teaching team as and when required. Over the next three years, I would like to make enough progress at a personal and professional level so that I can as a role model and as a reliable teaching assistant. To achieve that, I plan on evaluating my performance regularly and by using feedback so that eventually I can qualify the outcomes of my work and measure the impact that it has had on students. That’s what medium-term success would like to me.

I look forward to learning from my colleagues and developing my skill set year over year. In three years I would like to be a Registered Dietician. I would like to start pursuing my Ph.D. while I work, so I can add even more value to the organization. And I love traveling for work and I would like to be working with foreign clients and also ill improve my skills and become an expert in my field, assuming a leadership position also. I want to see myself as a more skillful, knowledgeable, and experienced individual, which would help the organization and new employees to grow. I always sound promising and be confident. And I am able to take additional responsibility and can deliver results and I wish to take some managerial responsibilities and even lead a project. As a dietician, I love being creative and coming up with my own recipes. I enjoy researching the latest trends and experimenting with new ideas. I have always been focused on professional development and growth, and ultimately my career aspirations entail achieving qualified teacher status. So this is how myself in the next one year and three years.

Testimonial:

The Internship Included many responsibilities necessary to run a business. Each day brought different circumstances and I had the opportunity to make decisions on my own and learn from both my successes and failures. The internship was a worthwhile experience and I feel that it has prepared me well for my professional career. I will take both the positive and negative aspects of the internship with me in applying for and analyzing future opportunities. So I learned so many things from FHTS like how to build a team, especially time management. These things would be helpful to my career. I'm so glad that I got the opportunity for an FHTS internship
