Vaishali Suyal is a Public Health Professional working with Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. She has been working in Midwifery Initiative of India from last one year. She is also involved in program management of various maternal health programs like SUMAN, JSSK, JSY launched by NHM. Before that she worked as a lecturer in various nursing colleges of Dehradun. She has studied Masters in nursing with Obstetrics & Gynecology as a specialty. She was Uttarakhand state topper in M.Sc Nursing state entrance exam of 2015.
Currently she is working in Maternal health division, GoI, where she coordinates with state officers, development partners & government officials for implementation of various reproductive & maternal health programs. She has also visited various nursing colleges as an assessor across the nation which are planned to be established as National Midwifery Training Institutes. She thinks that doctorate in Population Health Informatics will help her in enhancing her knowledge regarding health data analysis, research conduction & adequate use of technology in health sciences. As she has a keen interest in maternal health rights, it will help her in further researches & policy formation in that area.
