Objectives: To sensitize Anganwadi workers about the FHTS initiatives (Swasthya Pahal and RISE) toward the community.

Agenda of the meeting: FHTS organised a meeting followed up by lunch with the Anganwadi workers of Delhi. The meeting was attended by 4 Anganwadi workers and 1 ASHA worker from Shalimar bagh, Wazirpur and Kusumpur Pahari (North and South zones).

The objective of the meeting was to make Anganwadi workers aware of the community initiatives by FHTS.

Dr. Ashish Joshi introduced the Swasthya Pahal initiative to the Anganwadi workers which is a “Health for all” initiative. Swasthya Pahal is an interactive, lifestyle, self-management platform to address the burden of non-communicable diseases. Dr. Ashish Joshi encouraged them to use PHIK (Portable Health Information Kiosk) independently.

They were also informed about the RISE (Research, Innovation, Skills, and Entrepreneurship) initiative which aims to empower individuals and find innovative ways to create a sustained livelihood.

Dr. Joshi highlighted the functioning and benefits of these programs in the community.

The Anganwadi workers shared their views and suggestion so that the impact of the initiatives can reach more individuals.

The Anganwadi workers were facilitated with souvenirs prepared by RISE interns of FHTS.
