Highest Education: BHMS - National Institute of Homoeopathy

Date of Joining: January 17, 2022

Goals:

I am a beginner in the field of public health and have very little knowledge. During my practice period as a homeopathic physician, I realized that instead of curing patients I was just palliating their complaints. At present, most of the diseases need community-based interventions and also behavioral changes to have a permanent cure and it can be done only through knowledge and experience in public health.
Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Public Health from the Indian Institute of Public Health, Delhi. Within one and a half years of my course duration, I also want Hands-on experience which would be beneficial in my Public Health career. I want exposure to different sectors of Public Health and acquire knowledge in depth about it. As it is a diverse field I believe 1 year would not be enough to cover all the sectors but I want to be acquainted with as many fields as possible during this time so I can be clear about which field interests me the most in public health.
I will try to get accustomed to the systems and will try to learn more technical things which will help me build my skills.
With one year of experience, I don’t see myself becoming a team leader but will bring some changes to the place where I will be working. I would be making the best use of the experience and knowledge that would be obtained from working with your Organization.
