Public Health Researcher

Dr. Sabhya Juneja is an accomplished scholar with a strong background in Development Communication and Extension. She earned her Ph.D. from the Department of Development Communication and Extension at the University of Delhi, where she was recognized with the prestigious ICSSR Fellowship to support her doctoral research. Sabhya is a dedicated researcher with a rich portfolio of academic contributions. Her work spans across numerous research papers and active participation in conferences and seminars.

Sabhya possesses a unique proficiency in crafting research proposals. Her expertise extends to data assessment and findings interpretation, as well as content development on a range of social issues that contribute to overall development. Prior to joining FHTS, Sabhya served as an Assistant Professor, where she shared her knowledge and passion for Development Communication and Extension with undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Delhi and Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU). Her teaching experience underscores her commitment to education and knowledge dissemination.

Sabhya’s professional journey has also taken her across over 20 Indian states through her involvement in the Science Express project, an initiative in collaboration with organizations such as DST, DBT, and MOFCC. She served as a Science Communicator and disseminated information on climate change with an aim to increase awareness, shaping attitudes, and influencing behavior change. At FHTS, Sabhya Juneja embarks on a new chapter, eager to expand her horizons in the realm of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and their application in the field of public health.
