The projects focused on creating a repository of the scientific research conducted on COVID-19 infection, vaccine, COVID-19 variants such as omicron and nutrition. The aim of the project is to address issues related to COVID-19 and misinformation.

Many individuals use YouTube to search and disseminate health-related information. The study aims to examine the quality and reliability of COVID-19 vaccine-related information on YouTube using the DISCERN tool and Global Quality Score (GQS).

The objective of the study is to design, develop and evaluate usage of an interactive SMAART RAPID Tracker policy informatics tool, which aims to track geospatial spread of COVID-19 outbreak and policy actions globally.

Impact of Lockdown and Policy in addressing burden of COVID-19 pandemic in Global and Indian context
The aim of this study is to assess the disease dynamics and burden of Covid-19 cases in India at the state level to estimate the effect of lockdown policies in each region. The objective of this project is to extensively search and compile the data related to the policy and advisory of the states and Union territories of India issued in response to COVID-19 pandemic to combat the challenges. To further classify the policies and advisories according to their domain and come up with a summary which can further be used to evaluate the success rates and implementation of those policies/advisories in a particular state/UT.
Review of digital apps developed as a public-health response to COVID-19
To combat the impact of COVID-19, digital technologies like mobile apps have been utilized by countries worldwide for contact tracing, monitoring, dissemination of preventive strategies and surveillance. This has further led to an increase in concerns over negative effects of these apps on an individuals’ privacy. The objective of this paper is to review the features and privacy framework of the existing COVID-19 apps and provide guidance on how these apps are integrated into COVID-19 control approaches to help prepare for future pandemics.
A pilot evaluation of Swasthya Pahal program using SMAART informatics framework to support NCD self-management
The study described the usefulness of an interactive, touch screen computer- enabled SMAART informatics platform to screen individuals at risk of NCDs including diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. Sixty-Four police personnel were screened during this pilot initiative at the Police Sanchar Training Centre, Sahastradhara road, Dehradun on 6th January and 7th January 2020. Individuals were assessed for overweight/obesity, hypertension, and diabetes and made aware of how to self-manage their condition. The Swasthya Pahal program using the SMAART informatics framework can be a useful tool to enhance screening and self- management of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) among police personnel.

Evaluating the impact of digital health interventions to enhance physical and mental well-being of individuals living in the urban slums of Delhi & Gorakhpur
The proposed study will help to fill the existing gaps in understanding the dimensions of physical, mental, and social well-being. The study will also help in designing and developing an individualized, tailored, and interactive internet and mobile enabled digital health intervention to self-manage well-being. Utility and feasibility of the proposed study will help examine barriers and facilitators to incorporate digital health interventions in addressing the burden of physical, mental and social well-being among underserved populations.
