The Journal Club Presentation on 18th August 22023 was given by Sakshi on the topic “Field Lessons Learned From Shine Initiative and Scope of Improvement”.

Swasthya Pahal- “Health for All” is an initiative undertaken by FHTS, launched in the year 2012, which aims to improve healthcare access and quality across communities. SHINE is an extension of Swasthya Pahal.

SHINE (SMAART Hub for Informatics enabled Nutrition Education) Initiative aims to enhance self-management of chronic non-communicable diseases using multilingual digital HEALTH intervention tailored to enhance their knowledge regarding self-management of disease condition(s). It was launched in the year of 2022, June and messages were started from 2022, August 08.

The presentation provided the overview of SHINE initiative, and glimpse of the process involved. Additionally, lessons learned from the field were also discussed. The team provided their valuable inputs on ways to overcome the existing gaps, and the challenges we face during the entire endeavour.

After the presentation, there were thoughtful questions, insightful comments, and active engagement, demonstrating the commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering intellectual exchange within Team FHTS.
