Who we are

The Foundation of Healthcare Technologies Society

The Foundation of Healthcare Technologies Society (FHTS) is a nationally registered non-profit organization established in 2012 with a mission to improve the health and well-being of all. We work at the intersection of research, education, technology and community engagement to create solutions that improve population health outcomes across diverse settings.

In recognition of our contributions, the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, has certified us as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO).

We are also registered and recognized under:

SWASTHYA PAHAL

Designed, developed, and implemented one of the first multi-lingual digital health interventions, screening over 19,000 individuals across diverse communities for chronic NCDs such as Diabetes, Hypertension, and Obesity.

V-INSPIRE Public Health

India’s largest experiential learning program in public health, training 1200+ students in research and practice.

Community of Population Health Informatics Forum

India’s first population health informatics discussion forum with nearly 1,000+ members contributing actively.

PhD Program in Population Health Informatics

First global PhD program in collaboration with DIT University, Uttarakhand.

Physician & Nursing Researcher Program

India’s first 5-year program for undergraduate medical and nursing students in collaboration with Panimalar Medical College.

SMAART RAPID TRACKER

India’s first COVID-19 tracker addressing the burden of COVID-19.

HEAL Intervention

SMS-based multilingual nutrition program supporting over 5,000+ individuals towards healthier eating.

SHINE Platform

Introduced the field of Nutrition Informatics in India and developed the first Nutrition Informatics platform.

Health & Nutrition Informatics Training

Developed India’s first training program in Health and Nutrition Informatics.
