The Virtual Internship Experience helped me prepare for my graduate school where I am planning to pursue Masters in Public Health. My internship was entirely remote and I was given a weekly task of reviewing and discussing on various topics on the discussion board on SMAART. Apart from that, we were also assigned 10 countries on which we had to collect data regarding their digital public health policies and public health informatics system.
This wonderful experience has really opened my eyes to the vast framework of Public Health, beyond to what I thought. It helped me acquire key skills such as time management, effective communication, data collection and analysis of data. Really grateful that I got the opportunity to join this virtual public health internship.
