My name is Dr. Anuprita Nair. I did my dental education at Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal. The ongoing pandemic has piqued my interest in public health and the need for more public health professionals in our country. I am keen on learning more from the organization, improve my skills, and most importantly, be able to help put my time and resources in the betterment of the overall community health experience which is a need in this hour. I intend to pursue my master’s degree in the field of public health in the near future and would like to gain some experience in research work, paper writing, data analysis, and management.

Joining the V- INSPIRE club as a fellow has been a fruitful learning experience for my career. These 2 months have allowed me to responsibly plan and execute the tasks assigned in a timely, efficient manner while having robust intercluster collaboration with the other fellows and colleagues at FHTS. The knowledge gained through the SMAART IMPACT Hackathon has been enriching and has helped broaden my perspective and awareness about the issues associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been an excellent opportunity to network and connect with many professionals and students working in the public health and healthcare sector. My communication, public speaking, and organizational skills have significantly enhanced over the course of my journey here. I feel more confident and ready to contribute and learn from important discourses on public health concerns. Moreover, the focus on data-driven and scientifically backed information at the organization have helped me understand the value of preserving the authenticity and avoiding misinformation in my work as well. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn and obtain guidance from Dr. Ashish Joshi and Mrs. Mansi Gupta at FHTS, my colleagues, and other faculty. I look forward to being a part of future initiatives and learning more in the coming months.
