Dr Bala Sridhar BSc, MSc, AHSM, MSc Medical Informatics, PhD Health Informatics an Export Catalyst and NHS Account Specialist for Healthcare UK, Department of International Trade UK.
Bala is a life science graduate and a health informatician with over 32 years’ experience in private and public sector organisations, 30 years of which have been in the NHS.
Within the NHS, Bala has worked across Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, Community, Mental and Public Health sectors, gained in-depth knowledge and understanding of the patient journey across the health system, NHS culture, its strengths, inter and intra- dependencies, governance, expertise on cross-boundary workflow, capture and utilisation of clinical data at an individual and population level and data sharing between health and social care.
Bala has extensive experience across diverse disciplines, including health technology, data science, service transformation, business solution analysis/architecture, strategy and business case development, benefits realisation, procurement, contract negotiation and monitoring, informatics, organisational change, programme and project management.
Bala combined his experience, knowledge and skills in aligning people, process, and technology in healthcare to reduce the unit cost of healthcare, enhance affordability and improve the quality of care delivered.
Bala is based in Wirral, England, United Kingdom. He enjoys sports, event photography and regularly runs 10K and half marathons for The Christie and Alder Hey charities in his spare time.
