Mansi has more than 9 years of experience in development sector. She started her career working for children with special needs. Later, she worked for patients of all age groups suffering from deadly disease ‘Cancer’ for about 4.5 years. She worked with St Jude India ChildCare Centres as Cluster Manager and as Program Manager at Global Cancer Concern India. She has experience of working with Oncology and Palliative Care team of few Govt. and Private Hospitals and worked very closely with Pediatric Oncology Team of AIIMS Hospital.
She was also an academic counselor for Bachelors and Masters in Social work courses offered by Indira Gandhi National Open University from 2011 to 2018. She was also the course content writer for NGO Management course offered by Manovikas Community College affiliated to IGNOU. After completing her Bachelors in Physiotherapy, she pursued Masters in Social Work and Post-Graduation in Hospital Administration. She has also completed Diploma in Epidemiology from National Institute of Health and Family Welfare. She has done academic research studies on ‘Effect of pelvic floor exercises on urinary incontinence’, ‘Organization and Functioning of Medical Records Department of Sir Gangaram Hospital, Delhi’ and ‘Effect of changing family structure on the care of elderly’.
She is working with FHTS since 2016 worked as a research analyst for two years on understanding the role of social media in public health. She is currently working in the program INSPIRE under Centre for Mentorship in Research, Innovation, Skills and Entrepreneurship where the aim is to give every aspiring student an opportunity to enhance employable skills irrespective of any socioeconomic constraints. She loves reading, travelling and photography.
