I completed my graduation with BSc (applied nutrition) I see myself in the future as a dietitian in some hospital. In the first 1 -2 years I look forward to learning new skills and improving my knowledge to advance my career. I see myself becoming to be a true expert and master in my role as a dietitian. I plan to really immerse myself in the position, understand areas that can be improved on, really get to know the ins and outs of my profession.
For the 2-3 years after that, I will be committed and dedicated to my profession and deliver the best while learning from the best. I want to be able to extend my expertise, whether it be in research or public health services by using the skills and knowledge gained from my role.
The Internship included many responsibilities necessary to provide genuine information. Each day brought different circumstances and I had the opportunity to make decisions on my own and learn from both my hard work and mistakes. The internship was a worthwhile experience and I feel that it has prepared me well for a new professional career. I will take both the positive and negative aspects of the internship with me in applying for and analyzing future opportunities.
