SDRV Convent School Students Participated in the Swasthya Pahal

A Swasthya Pahal Health Camp along with the RISE Exhibit was successfully conducted at Shri Dronacharya Rameshchand Vidyawati Convent School (SDRV Convent School), Dankaur, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The camp was organized by Foundation of Healthcare Technologies Society (FHTS) from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Students from the University of Memphis Public Health Club at SDRV School actively and enthusiastically participated in organizing and conducting the camp. The club has been established under the leadership of Ashish Joshi, Dean of the School of Public Health at the University of Memphis, and represents the first such public health club initiative in India.
Prior to the event, students underwent structured training on the complete operational workflow of organizing a digital health camp, including: Participant registration, Clinical assessment, Data entry and management, Health card generation, Participant counseling.
The primary objective of the camp was to provide school students with hands-on exposure to public health practice, while strengthening their digital literacy, organizational and management skills, and community engagement. The initiative also aimed to introduce students to real-world public health challenges and practical solutions.
During the camp, around 60 individuals were screened and received health, nutrition, and lifestyle counseling.
This initiative reflects a strong commitment to introducing public health practices at the school level, engaging youth in community health, promoting digital health innovation, and instilling public health values during the formative academic years.
