The present scoping review aims to systematically map the available evidence on nutrition-based interventions for adults living with Diabetes and Hypertension residing in India. A comprehensive search is being conducted using different databases: PubMed and Google Scholar, based on pre-defined inclusion and exclusion criteria (PCC framework). The study will summarise the epidemiological burden of diabetes mellitus and hypertension and different dietary guidelines available to address them in India. The endeavour intends to highlight the need for a holistic, human-centred, technology-enabled approach to reduce the implications of the burden of metabolic syndrome, followed by drawing attention to the existing conceptual framework i.e. HEAL.
