Dr. Ashish Joshi, Dean, School of Public Health, University of Memphis, visited D. Y. Patil University School of Public Health on June 22, 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen ties between the two institutions. The visit brought together faculty and leadership from both schools for discussions around potential areas of collaboration, including avenues for academic partnership, joint research initiatives, and student engagement programs that could bring the two institutions closer together. During his time on campus, Dr. Joshi interacted closely with students from the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs, taking the time to understand their academic journeys and aspirations while sharing his own insights on public health practice, research, and the career opportunities the field has to offer.
