FHTS Participates in Public Health Workshop at SDRV Convent School

Workshop activity in SDRVCS, Noida, UP

On August 19, 2026, SDRV Convent School, Greater Noida, in association with the University of Memphis School of Public Health, welcomed esteemed delegates from the National Poisons Information Centre (NPIC), Department of Pharmacology, (AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi), for an interactive session titled “Toxic Trail: The Public Health Race.” FHTS was represented at the event by Upma Sharma, Public Health Research, and Ritika Kapoor , Experiential Learning, Engagement and Outreach Coordinator, who were present on the day supporting the students as they took part.

The session brought together group competitions, knowledge-based activities, and interactive games designed to teach students about poison safety and public health awareness in an engaging, hands-on format. Students of the school’s Public Health Club actively participated across the day’s activities, walking away with certificates recognizing their involvement.

The event reflected the spirit of “Be Cautious, Be Poison Safe Together for a Healthier Tomorrow,” reinforcing the Public Health Club’s ongoing effort to blend learning with fun, real-world engagement.
