On October 10, 2026, FHTS observed World Mental Health Day under the theme “Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change,” with students across its collaborating institutions coming together to share what mental well-being means to them.

At Commonwealth University, Saint Lucia, Caribbean, students filled a wall with their own words and drawings on resilience, growth, and self-care. Students at Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences and Research, Faridabad, Haryana, expressed their thoughts through posters and drawings, while at Panimalar Medical College Hospital & Research Institute, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, students filled a large board with the words they associate with mental health. At Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Government Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Srinagar, Uttarakhand, students covered a Mental Health Awareness Wall with notes. Government Doon Medical College and Hospital, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, and the Public Health Clubs in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, also joined the observance, reflecting a shared message that mental well-being begins with giving people room to speak and be heard.
