FHTS Begins Phase 2 Data Collection for ICMR-Funded NCD Prevention Study
July 15, 2026
FHTS has commenced Phase 2 data collection for its ongoing study, “Evaluating the Impact of Digital Intervention versus WHO PEN Approach in Non-Communicable Disease Prevention and Control in Resource-Limited Settings: A Quasi-Experimental Study.” Following the recent training and orientation of staff and interns on the newly developed digital intervention, the team has now moved into the field to begin data collection among study participants. Equipped with standardized procedures for administering the digital intervention and conducting usability assessments, the field team is working closely with participants across the study sites, ensuring consistency and rigour at every stage of data collection. This phase marks a key step forward in generating real-world evidence on digital health interventions for non-communicable disease prevention and control.
