On October 10, 2026, students from the Public Health Clubs of 50 schools in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, took part in World Mental Health Day under the theme “Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change.” The clubs are part of the collaborative initiative of FHTS, the University of Memphis School of Public Health, and Zilla Parishad, which is bringing the Public Health in Action curriculum to high schools across the district. Students came together to reflect on what mental well-being means to them and their communities.
