Smt. Alka Ichaaram Deore is a development professional with over 20 years of experience in rural development, entrepreneurship promotion, and livelihood enhancement. She holds a Postgraduate qualification in Sustainable Rural Development from NIRD/SIRD, Hyderabad, and an MSW from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune.

She served as Senior Faculty at Mahabank R-SETI, Thane, from 2013 to 2025, specializing in entrepreneurship development, skill training, financial literacy, and community mobilization. Her work has focused on empowering women, SHGs, farmers, and aspiring entrepreneurs through sustainable livelihood and enterprise development initiatives.
