Spatial and Temporal Distribution of Public Health Programs Globally

The project “Spatial and Temporal Distribution of Public Health Programs Worldwide” intends to systematically map public health education programs worldwide in an attempt to find out how the programs are geographically distributed and developed over time. The project will consider several factors that will determine program characteristics, including its level, type, period of development, and the year of establishment. Competency standards, including curricula competencies, will be evaluated.
Quality of Online Information About the Public Health Educational Programs in an Indian setting

This study seeks to examine the availability and quality of information about public health education programs that can be accessed by the general public through institutional websites, with particular emphasis on the way institutions convey critical information about their programs to potential students. Employing a mixed-methods research design, the study examines whether institutions provide adequate information in areas such as admission criteria, curricula, program components, faculty, research opportunities, funding sources, capacity, and career prospects, among others, as well as qualitative assessment of how well this information is provided.
Swasthya Pahal: Implementation of an Innovative Digital Intervention Across Diverse Geographic Settings in India

Swasthya Pahal is a digital health initiative that enables timely screening, and raise awareness about NCDs among underprivileged people across different geographical settings. It emphasises on early detection, prevention, and manage these diseases effectively. The purpose of this study is to enhance awareness of disease prevention and to evaluate the scalability, feasibility, and effectiveness of digital health technologies across diverse socio-demographic and geographic settings to strengthen health services and improve health outcomes.
Discussion Blog as a Source of Trusted Reliable Evidence Based Sharing of Public Health Information

This study aims to evaluate whether discussion board can function as a trusted reliable, and evidence based knowledge sharing platform for public health information. The scope of the study is to analyse the discussion blog content on the COPHI (Community of Population Health Informatics) platform, and also to focus on posts related to public health topics and evidence based discussions using qualitative research. This study will support the development of trusted online based learning environments for public health professionals and students.
Multicentric Evaluation of Well-being Among Medical College Students Across Indian States Using the WHO-5 Well-being Index Scale

The present study is a cross sectional study conducted at three medical colleges of state Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand and Haryana, with a focus on identifying the determinants affecting the well-being of medical students. A pre-defined questionnaire and validated tool i.e., WHO-5 well-being index was used to assess the psychological subjective well-being of graduate and under graduate medical students. The goal of this study is to assess the well-being of graduate and under graduate medical students, and identify the determinants that affect their well-being status.
Nutrition Informatics Interventions Among Adults Living With Diabetes and Hypertension in India

The present scoping review aims to systematically map the available evidence on nutrition-based interventions for adults living with Diabetes and Hypertension residing in India. A comprehensive search is being conducted using different databases: PubMed and Google Scholar, based on pre-defined inclusion and exclusion criteria (PCC framework). The study will summarise the epidemiological burden of diabetes mellitus and hypertension and different dietary guidelines available to address them in India. The endeavour intends to highlight the need for a holistic, human-centred, technology-enabled approach to reduce the implications of the burden of metabolic syndrome, followed by drawing attention to the existing conceptual framework i.e. HEAL.
Digital Self-Care Interventions for Cardiometabolic Diseases in WHO Southeast Asian Countries: A Scoping Review

This scoping review aims to identify and map the available digital interventions implemented in the five year period (January 2021 to December 2025) that aim to support self-care; examine the key components and strategies of these digital interventions that contribute to self-care; and finally assess the reported health outcomes and biomarkers associated with these interventions, and identify elements that may inform the potential scaling up of effective digital self-care interventions. This review is also expected to identify gaps that may inform future research, program development, and policy.
Perceived Stress Scale Among Medical College Students in India

This study focuses on analysing the perceived stress among college students by administering the standard scale “Perceived Stress Scale”. This scale is a widely used measure, and is designed to assess perceptions of recent stress. The study also elaborates on stress related Public health initiatives, Programs, and Policies, globally & in India.
Mobile Health Apps to Address Mental Health Challenges Among Youth in India

The present scoping review aims to systematically map the available mobile apps in Google play store and Apple Store to address mental health challenges among the youth in India. A comprehensive search is being conducted using PubMed based on pre-defined inclusion and exclusion criteria (PCC framework), to explore any guidelines/programs/schemes launched in the past to address the mental health concerns among the youths. The endeavour intends to explore if any strategies and apps are available, ranging from preventive to therapeutic approach, to address the growing need of mental health concerns among youths.
Perceived Health Locus of Control Among Undergraduate Students of India

This study focuses on analysing the key dimensions, i.e., their beliefs regarding whether their health is controlled by internal factors (own actions), powerful others (doctors/family), or chance/fate by administering the “Perceived health locus of control (HLC)”. Perceived health locus of control (HLC) is a standard scale, which assesses 3 key dimensions—internal, powerful others, and chance—to predict health attitudes, behaviors, and stress coping. The study also compiles the Public Health Initiative/program/Policy on Anger Management, Coping, Adaptability, Resilience, and Empathy among young adults from Global and in India.
