With the arising need of public health, this study appropriately highlights the importance for the same especially mapping the distribution of courses across the Global South being very variable. Global South being majorly a low to medium income region must improve the training initiatives for development of affordable and accessible public health workforce. Institutions shall try to adhere and preach with unique competencies stated by WHO and CDC for a competent workforce. The goal of achieving a well prepared and skilled professional for fulfilling the WHO’s Health for all motto is possible only by bridging all the socio-economical and cultural differences prevalent in the society.
