What is v-INSPIRE?
A Virtual Interactive Novel Support Program for Innovation, Research and Entrepreneurship aims to address population health challenges of the 21st century by enhancing academic and non-academic skills of students using an Innovative and participatory experiential learning experience.
Mentorship is an integral component of v-INSPIRE.
- Experiential learning (EL) programs allow students to gain experience, engage with the community, develop technical and interpersonal skills, and build career readiness and professional networks, all of which have been particularly hard hit
Educators need to rethink outreach strategies and consider alternatives to traditional in-person placements

Real Stories, Real Impact
Worked on a 3-month assignment for a Public Health Informatics project, mapping digital health policies and frameworks of all countries around the world, communicating, working, and sorting data, was a rewarding experience. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to serve as a teaching assistant for a month, during which I prepared syllabi and modules for a public health database course. Overall, I would say it was a wonderful experience and thought-provoking internship with FHTS. I would highly recommend FHTS to anybody keen on public health and advanced technologies, and informatics.
