Malnutrition is a major public health concern globally, particularly in developing countries. Interventions that use mobile health applications may be utilized to prevent and overcome the burden of malnutrition among the population. The average rating was higher for 69.73% (n=53) applications and very few applications (n=4; 5.26%) were recently updated in 2021. The highest percentage of applications (n=25; 32.89%) had no users and the highest percentage (n=16; 21.05%) of applications had 100+ installations. Further, self-monitoring features were most common (n=38; 28.8%) followed by nutritional status assessment (n=34; 25.84%).
